The earthcoinage platform is structured as a polycentric peer to peer network, each hub is a self contained network that interacts with all other hubs on the platform.
The location of the bondsmen populating the hubs is important, because when attached platforms are used, such as the allodium platform, or the arbitration platform, or the bonding platform, these address local needs. For example, the bonding platform is used to satisfy practical needs, and these local needs would generate local cooperatives. So all hubs must therefore be populated with people in the same geographical location, the exact location is not important, but a general reference to the 100 square miles the hub represents is, as local means nothing is further than 10 miles away as the crow flies.
There are around 39 people per square mile of inhabitable land on the planet.
London has 15,328 people per square mile, but has a large area of 607 square miles, with a population of over 8.5m, generating around 1.4 million bondsmen per hub if all joined the bond.
Manila, Philippines is the most densely populated city in the world 111,000 square mile. The city of Manila is around 15 square miles in area and has a total population of 1,780,000, but the wider area covers around 240 square miles with a total population of 12.9 million people. and this would, if established, form the largest populated hubs with approximately 4.3 million per hub.
When a new account is created in an area without any hubs, that account opens a new hub, this requires the new bondsman to identify, not their location precisely, but simply which 100 square mile hub location they’re within on a global referenced grid, this creates the hub at that grid reference.
The attached bonding platform would allow bonds to be created with much narrower locations, for example a five square mile radius out of the 100 square miles of the hub could be selected for the creation of a supermarket cooperative, and people then joining that need bond would benefit from such a location, more than another supermarket bond offered further away in the same hub.
The average number of bondsmen within a hub would vary, as the elite have engineered populations to migrate to concentrated Ghettos, some hubs would be sparsely populated while others would have huge numbers.
Each hub is self contained, as most trades are local, enacted within the 100 square miles of the hub, most of the trading would be between the bondsmen within the same Sole Alpha hub. This would also encourage local relationship building.
The next most common trades would be within the super Alpha Hub covering 900 square miles around the bondsman of the Sole Alpha Hub.
When a trade is outside the sole Alpha hub, that token must ultimately return to the hub of its origin, and to achieve this the token is drawn back to the geographic locations of the originating hub.
In relation to a bondsman their hub is always the Sole Alpha Hub, as the network of hubs grows, their geographical location would determine their relationship to the hubs developing globally. When for example 49 hub existed then the most out laying hubs would be Mega Alpha Hubs, but as more hubs were created these hubs would be redefined in relationship to the sole alpha hub of the bondsman.
For example if a bondsman traded with a very distant hub, say a Mega Epsilon Hub, the token will have an origin identification and the system will seek to return that token to the originating hub.
This means when a trade from the Mega Epsilon Hub, that’s holding the sole alpha hub token, at a future point, trades with an external hub, one that is closer to the alpha tokens originating hub, then the Mega Epsilon Hub uses the Alpha token in payment.
Lets say a trade from the Mega Epsilon Hub is made with a Magnitude Lambda Hub (in relation to the sole alpha hub token), this draws the token geographically closer to its originating hub. Then over time a trade is made from the Magnitude Lambda Hub to a Super Eta Hub, then again the Magnitude Lambda Hub would use the Alpha hub token in transfer. Lets say a trade later is made from the Magnitude lambda hub with the Sole Beta Hub, again the alpha hub token is used, this is now getting geographically local to its origin. The closer the token gets to the geographical location of its origin, the more likely it will return to the source hub.
Additionally direct exchange can be made independently by the hub, for example, if the Hub is holding non-native tokens and another hub is also holding different non-native tokens, and through the exchange of those non-native tokens, all the tokens involved would be closer to their origin hub in both directions, then the hubs would exchange tokens, this does not effect the balance of the hubs in any way.
In this way the risk is localised, if one hub is corrupted and isolated from the system, it would not impact greatly on the polycentric collective, as the whole network of hubs is decentralised. Each hub has its own identifiable tokens.
This can be visualised as boxes, the alpha box at the centre, the boxes that surround the alpha are the super alpha hubs, the boxes that surround the super alpha hubs are the magnitude alpha hubs, the boxes that surround the magnitude alpha hub are the mega alpha hubs and so on as the hubs spread out geographically. The hubs do not need to connect directly geographically, only in the distance relationship to one another, as the network expands.
