Earthcoinage Polycentric Hub Network

The earthcoinage platform is structured as a polycentric peer to peer network, each individual forms a unique hub, which is self contained and can interact with all other hubs on the platform.

The location of the bondsman is important, because when attached platforms are used, such as the allodium platform, or the arbitration platform, or the bonding platform, these address local needs. For example, the bonding platform is used to satisfy practical needs, and these local needs would generate local cooperatives. So, all hub groupings must therefore be populated with people in the same geographical location, the exact location is not important, but a general reference to the 100 square miles the hub represents is, as local means nothing is further than around 10 miles away as the crow flies.

There are around 39 people per square mile of inhabitable land on the planet.

London has 15,328 people per square mile, but has a large area of 607 square miles, with a population of over 8.5m, generating around 1.4 million bondsmen per hub if all joined the bond.

Manila, Philippines is the most densely populated city in the world 111,000 square mile. The city of Manila is around 15 square miles in area and has a total population of 1,780,000, but the wider area covers around 240 square miles with a total population of 12.9 million people, and this would, if established, form the largest populated hubs with approximately 4.3 million per hub.

When a new account is created in an area without any hubs, that account opens a new local location, this requires the new bondsman to identify, not their location precisely, but simply which 100 square mile hub location they’re within on a global referenced grid, this creates the hub at that grid reference. Each hub uniquely possesses their own chosen geographic location.

The attached bonding platform would allow the bondsman to narrow the size of their local area, for example a five square mile radius location, in a very densely populated area may be enough, while in a sparsely populated area a 50 mile radius may be needed.

The average number of bondsmen within a location would vary, as the elite have engineered populations to migrate to concentrated Ghettos, some locations would be sparsely populated while others would have huge numbers.

Most trades are local, enacted within the 100 square miles the bondsman lives.

The next most common trades would be within the regional location, covering 900 square miles around the bondsman’s local area.

When a trade is outside the reginal location, it’s a global location.
